Dar es Salaam, Jumanne Februari 6  2016, Kampuni ya simu za mkononi ya Airtel leo imetangaza kutoa gawio la faida kwa wateja wake wa Airtel Money zaidi ya milioni 6 pamoja na mawakala wake nchi nzima.

Airtel  italipa gawio la faida iliyopatikana kwa watumiaji wa huduma ya Airtel money kwa kipindi cha  kuanzia  Aprili 2015 hadi Desemba 2015 , ambapo kila mteja wa Airtel Money atapokea gawio lake kulingana na kiasi cha salio lake katika akaunti yake ya Airtel Money kila siku

Akiongea na waandishi wa habari, Meneja wa kitengo cha Airtel Money “Asupya Naligingwa alisema” Tunayofuraha kubwa kutangaza mpango wetu wa kugawa faida ya shilingi 3,287,107,061 kwa watumiaji wa huduma yetu ya Airtel Money pamoja na mawakala nchi nzima. Hii ni mara ya pili kwa kampuni yetu kutoa gawio kwa wateja watu, ambapo mwaka jana tulitoa kiasi cha jumla ya  shilingi Bilion 5.3”.

Tunaamini gawiwo hili la faida litawasaidia mamilioni ya wateja wetu kufanya mambo mbalimbali kulingana na mahitaji yao na hivyo kudhihirisha dhamira yetu yakutoa huduma bora  za kifedha nchini. Airtel distributes profit share to more than 6 million Airtel Money customers

· More than 3 billion Tshs to be  shared across the country

Airtel Tanzania has today announced distribution of interest to more than its 6 million Airtel money customers in the country including the super and retail agents who form an integral part of the mobile money ecosystem.

Airtel will pay interest for a period from April 2015 to December 2015, every Airtel Money Customer will receive apportion of interest based on their Airtel Money account balances every day.

Speaking with the members of the press, Airtel Money Business Enterprises Manager, Asupya Nalingigwa said “we are really excited to be announcing this distribution of profit share worth 3,287,107,061 shillings to our loyal Airtel Money users and agents across the country.  This is the second profit share, last year weshared Mobile Money Trust Account profit of 5.3 Billion shillings with our customers across the country.

“We believe the profit share pay shall support  millions of  our Airtel Money customer to meet their various financial obligations hence underlines our commitment to provide access to financial services. We pledge to empower our customers through our products and services, and thus our Airtel Money service is designed to provide that affordability sought by many from different parts of the country. The Airtel Money service allows customers to pay utility bills, goods and services, make direct payment for savings and loans contributions, buy airtime, purchase Airtel data bundle, send and receive, withdraw cash from Airtel money account, send money to and withdraw money from bank accounts.
