Under the scheme to be implemented as part of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) funded Power Transmission and Distribution Project, households in the selected communities will only pay Tshs 80,000 instead of Tsh 460,000 for a single-phase power connection.  This is yet another effort by MCC and MCA-Tanzania to improve the livelihood of low income Tanzanians.
