A flag hoisting ceremony will be held to mark the 72nd Anniversary of the National Day of Pakistan on Friday 23 March 2012 at 1000 hours at the High Commission for Pakistan located at Plot No.338, House No. MKC/1259, Maziede, Garden Road, Mikocheni-B, Dar es Salaam.
High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Tanzania Mr. Tajammul Altaf, will perform the flag hoisting ceremony in accompaniment of the national anthem of Pakistan. Messages of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan will be read out on this occasion.

The High Commission has organized a Reception Dinner to commemorate the National Day of Pakistan at Diamond Jubilee Hall on 26 March 2012 from 1930-2130 hours. All invited guests including Tanzanian dignitaries, senior officials, Ambassadors/High Commissioners, Head of UN Missions, prominent Pakistanis, representative of Asian communities and friends of Pakistan will grace the occasion with their presence.
