Vodacom TZ Prepaid Customers to Enjoy faster modem with FREE internet

. Customers to enjoy 500MB for free every month for three months.

Dar es Salaam, 31st July, 2012 . Tanzania's leading telecommunications provider, Vodacom Tanzania, has introduced a new modem deal for prepaid customers. This deal is aimed at addressing the current customers' needs and demand, a move that will add a significant value for money to Vodacom's new data users.

Vodacom customers will now buy the modem (model number E303) for just Tsh. 30,000, saving Tsh 5,000 from the previous modem price. Customers will get a free Vodacom sim card, and will enjoy 500MB (3.75G) for free every month for three months, and will be able to check  balance of the free internet bundle by dialling *102*120#.

Upon purchase of the new modem, customers will be required to recharge with a minimum of Tsh 500 or above for their number to become active in the system. Thereafter, a sales agent will recharge the modem with 500MB from the Vodacom Fasta wallet. The recurring 500MB will be sent to the beneficiary automatically after every 30 days for three months.

After 3-months, customers on modem new promotion will be migrated back to the pay-as-you plan standard.

Vodacom TZ Managing Director, Rene Meza, states that this move is aimed at increasing Vodacom subscription across the country, noting that the youth are should take up this offer for their daily internet use.

"So far, we have introduced cheap internet services for our customers.. We hope that this offer will be of great benefit to our young customers, most of which make wide use of the internet," noted Meza.

This offer comes at a time when Vodacom TZ has invested heavily in the country. The company plans to inject over Tshs 120 billion in network upgrades, product development and introduction of new technologies during the year 2012.
