CANADA SENDS A MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO THE PEOPLE OF TANZANIA

Following the tragic accident involving the MV Spice Islander which capsized in the Nungwi channel off the island of Zanzibar on Saturday, September 10, 2011, the Government of Canada has sent the following condolence message to the People of Tanzania:

“On behalf of the government and people of Canada, I offer sincere condolences to those affected by this tragic incident. “

“Canada stands with the people of Tanzania at this difficult time.”
