USD 300 000… WHAT COULD YOU DO WITH THIS MUCH MONEY?

February 2012

If you had USD 300 000 what would you do … shop ‘til you drop, start a business or buy property? Perhaps pay for more education, change your family’s life, get married or fly away?

With M-Net’s new season of Big Brother Africa offering a huge USD 300 000 prize, this is definitely a question that will face one lucky person in 2012 after they win the popular 91-day reality series!

But only time will tell who this will be.  Right now the race is on to get into the famous house and there are just days to go before the deadline for entries closes at midnight (CAT) on Monday February 27.

So if you haven’t completed your entry and are still interested in participating…get moving because time is running out and Big Brother wants to hear from you! You and your partner may be just the people that Biggie is looking for this time round.

And a reminder … this season entrants must DOUBLE-UP to compete. This means that anyone who wants to enter season 7 must partner with another person to enter as a pair!

Entry is open to citizens from Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.  Both partners must come from the same country, must be 21 years or older, must be fluent in English and must have a valid passport.

Interested persons can collect an entry form from the nearest MultiChoice office in their country. You can also enter by visiting www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother and completing an entry form online. Or download an entry form from the website, complete and email it back to bba@endemol.co.za.

“We’ve had positive feedback from BBA fans who love the challenge of entering in pairs,” says M-Net Africa MD Biola Alabi. “It’s great to see them embrace the change so enthusiastically! And if you haven’t sent your entry in yet, please do so soon. We want to hear from you!”

She also confirmed that, once all the entries were in, the Endemol production team will identify the best entrants and these persons will be invited to a casting session.   But if, for some reason, you don’t submit your paper entry in time…there is another option.

“We know that sometimes people do miss the cut-off for sending in their paper entry, so we’re opening the casting sessions again this year to late entries. Those people need to simply come to the casting venue and meet the team. However, a paper entry is still the very best way to get selected. It gives our teams more time to work through to your entry in detail and increases your chances of participating.”

Casting details: Holiday Inn City Centre- Dar es Salaam from 13th-15th March 2012. M-Net’s Big Brother Africa 7 starts on DStv channel 198 on Sunday May 6.
